My account belongs to the British Council Digital Library and I have forgotten the password to my account. How can I reset my password?

If you’ve forgotten your password for your British Council Digital Library account, don’t worry, you can easily reset it. Follow the steps outlined below to regain access to your account and your valuable resources!

Steps to follow:
  • Open the MyLOFT App on your Mobile or Web in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge using the URL: https://app.myloft.xyz.
  • Select the institute from the list: British Council.
  • Click on “Sign in to British Council Digital Library”.
  • The sign-in page of The British Council Digital Library opens.
  • Select the country you belong to from the dropdown menu.
  • Find the “Forgot Password” option below the Login box and click on it.
  • On the next page, provide your registered Email Address, confirm the email address in the next box and click Submit.
  • The password reset link reaches your email address registered with the British Council Library.
  • Click on the link and type in your New Password.
  • Return to MyLOFT MobileApp/ WebApp and log in with your registered email address and new password set.
